Oven-Roasted Sausages with Onions (Easy Tray Bake)

Serves: 3–4

Time: ~45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8–10 sausages (pork, beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 4–5 large onions, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (sweet or smoked)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • Optional: 2 cloves garlic (sliced), 1 tsp mustard, splash of balsamic or vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
  2. Prepare onions: Toss onion wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs in a large baking tray.
  3. Add sausages: Nestle sausages among the onions. (Optional: prick sausages lightly so fat renders.)
