Ingredients:

Angel food cake, prepared 1 loaf
Instant cheesecake pudding mix 1 package (3.4 oz)
Milk 1 ½ cups
Sour cream or plain Greek yogurt 1 cup
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Cherry pie filling 1 can (30 ounces)
Cold whipped topping 1 container (8 oz)
Roasted almond slices (optional) 1 tablespoon

  1. Prepare Cake & Pudding: Cut the prepared angel food cake into bite-sized cubes and set them aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1 package of instant cheesecake pudding mix, 1 ½ cups milk, 1 cup sour cream, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth. Set this mixture aside.
  2. Assemble the First Layer: In a 13×9-inch baking dish, place half of the cake cubes in an even layer on the bottom of the pan. Spoon half of the cherry pie filling over the cake cubes.
